THINGS TO KNOW
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need previous SUP experience?
No, our SUP tours are beginner-friendly. Before we start, your guide will explain the basics, including how to stand, paddle, turn, and stay safe on the water. You can also paddle sitting or kneeling if you feel more comfortable.
Can beginners join the snorkeling tour?
Yes. Beginners are welcome, but you should feel comfortable in the water. We will explain how to use the mask and snorkel, where to swim, and what to be careful about before entering the water.
Are English-speaking guides available?
Yes. We offer support in both English and Japanese, so international guests and residents in Japan can join with confidence.
What should I bring?
Thailand is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit generally falls between November and March, when the weather is cooler and more comfortable for outdoor activities. However, if you’re looking to avoid the crowds or get better deals, the shoulder seasons (April to June and September to October) are also great times to visit.
Is the tour safe?
Safety is our priority. Our local guides have over 10 years of experience and will check the weather and sea conditions before each tour. If the conditions are not safe, the tour may be changed, postponed, or cancelled.
What happens if the weather is bad?
SUP and snorkeling tours are weather-dependent. If strong wind, heavy rain, poor visibility, or unsafe sea conditions are expected, we will contact you in advance to discuss rescheduling or cancellation options.
How long in advance should I book my trip?
Yes, children can join depending on the tour, weather, and sea conditions. A parent or guardian must join with them. Please contact us before booking if you plan to join with children.
What should I pack for my trip to Thailand?
For paddle-boarding, strong swimming skills are not always required, but you should not be afraid of falling into the water. For snorkeling, you should be comfortable floating and swimming in the sea.
What is included in the tour?
The tour usually includes guide support, basic equipment, safety explanation, and route guidance. Depending on the tour, photos may also be included. Please check each tour page for exact details.
How long is the tour?
Most tours take around 1.5 to 2.5 hours, including preparation, safety explanation, and time on the water. The exact duration depends on the tour type and sea conditions.
Where do the tours take place?
Our tours are mainly held around the Shonan, Hayama, Zushi, and nearby coastal areas. The exact meeting point will be shared after booking or listed on the tour page.
Can I join alone?
Yes, solo guests are very welcome. Many people join alone, and our tours are a relaxed way to enjoy the ocean and meet others.
