Tokyo Sakura River SUP under Skytree

A spring-only paddleboarding experience in the heart of Tokyo

Experience Tokyo’s cherry blossom season from a completely different perspective — standing on a paddleboard, gliding quietly along the river beneath the skyline.

This unique SUP event takes place on a calm river route with guaranteed views of Tokyo Skytree, surrounded by sakura trees in full bloom. As you paddle, soft pink petals may drift onto the water around you, creating a peaceful contrast to the cityscape and an unforgettable spring atmosphere.

The tour is designed for paddlers who are comfortable covering a moderate distance on the board. We move at a relaxed but steady pace, with a short break on the river to rest, enjoy the scenery, and take photos. Our guides handle navigation and safety so you can focus on the experience.

While this standard route does not paddle all the way to the base of Skytree (which would require a much longer distance), the views of Skytree are clear and impressive throughout the tour. For experienced paddlers interested in a longer route, extended tour options may be available on request.

Photos will be taken during the experience and shared with you afterward, so you can fully enjoy the moment without worrying about capturing everything yourself.

This event runs only during cherry blossom season and only under suitable weather conditions, making it a truly limited and seasonal way to enjoy spring in Tokyo.
